On December 2 and 3, 2022, the "Qazaqstan Project Management Awards-2022" forum was held at the Academy of Public Administration under the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

At this event, government agencies, the quasi-public sector and universities presented their projects.

Before receiving a high award, all projects went through several stages: submission of an application in the form of a report, analysis of reports by international level assessors, interviews with project managers and assessors, and the final stage - presentation and defense of the project at ASU under the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

The Minister of Science and Higher Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan Sayasat Nurbek delivered a welcoming speech. In his speech, the Minister noted that now we live in a BANI world, changeable, uncertain, complex and ambiguous. One of the effective management tools in these conditions is project management.

What has project management given to our university?

First, consistency in the implementation of the development program. Secondly, the transition to a horizontal form of management, and thirdly, adaptability to change. And most importantly, the involvement of more employees and students in process management.
The project "EKTU.Otbasy - a territory of well-being * Well being" became the best project in the nomination "Best Project of the Year" among the universities of Kazakhstan.

Recall that this project is aimed at creating a favorable environment for the comprehensive development of members of the university community.To implement a "human-centered" corporate culture: balance the emotional, intellectual, physical and creative state; programs to support and promote mass sports and health, create a comfortable environment, encourage a culture of conscious (environmentally friendly) consumption.

The winners were congratulated by Erlan Zhakanovich Koshanov, Chairman of the Mazhilis of the Parliament of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Minister of Science and Higher Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan Sayasat Nurbek, Chairman of the IPMA Council Reinhard Wagner, Paul Bradley, Leading Trainer on the PRINCE2 course project management methodology.
