On March 13, 2024, the following speakers took part in the program "Day Shift" of the Khabar 24 TV channel, dedicated to the problems of education and professional training of young people:
- Nauzhan Didarbekova, Deputy Director of the National Testing Center;
- Azamat Beisenbenov, Director of the Department of Human Capital Development of the Atameken National Chamber of Entrepreneurs;
- Galiaskar Sarybayev, Member of the Senate of the Parliament of the Republic of Kazakhstan;
- Eleonora Stolyarova, Candidate of Sociological Sciences, Chief Researcher of the ISRC "DSR" of the EKTU named after D. Serikbayev.
Eleonora Stolyarova, as a sociologist, notes that there are significant discrepancies between the real demands of the labor market and the system of training specialists (time codes: 26.27; 30.37). Moreover, even employers cannot always promptly recognize the need for specialists, as new professions arise literally every day. In this regard, the training of specialists is focused on today (at best), but does not take into account the prospects for the development and further diversification of the post-industrial economy. Of course, this problem is complex, comprehensive, and the processes of formation and development of human capital should be the subject of serious scientific research, broad public discussion and systematic work of the relevant government agencies.
