Representatives of EKSTU named after D. Serikbayev along with the “Department of Education of Ridder,” and “Ridder Metallurgical Combine of LLP Kazzinc” organized large-scale vocational guidance event.

The event was held on the basis of school-lyceum No. 1 "Shanyrak" in Ridder. The purpose of the event is agitational and vocational guidance activity of EKSTU and "Kazzinc LLP," within the framework of the signed "Memorandum of Mutual Cooperation and Partnership" and the implementation of the project "My Mother Land."

Vice-rector for Academic Affairs, Saule Rakhmetullina, addressed the welcoming word to the guests. During her speech, Vice-rector noted perspectives of the technical education in our industrial region. Also, the actual and strategic directions of the university’s development, its specialties and educational programs were mentioned.

University’s representatives described in details its faculties, departments, grants and specific of university’s education.

Mutual and close cooperation between EKSTU and industrial claster was explained by the Head of the Department of Education of Ridder and personnel development of LLC Kazzinc, Raisa Dusumbayeva.

The event was participated by the 120 school and college graduates of Ridder and their parents.
