In accordance with the plan of the Ministry of Education and Science to actualize research on the implementation of the Message of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan Nursultan Nazarbayev, the nation leader, to the Kazakhstani people “Strategy of Kazakhstan -2050 : a New Policy of an Established State”, D.Serikbayev East Kazakhstan State Technical University helds a cluster seminar on Sectoral and Industry Specific Features of the Kazakhstan Regions Development as a Basis for Determining their Competitive Specialization on November 15, 2013.
The seminar aims at constructive debate of strategies and ways of modernizing and innovative and technological developing, and cooperating of the regions of Kazakhstan, developing and submitting guidelines for solving the crucial problems in the sphere.
The following are the directions of the seminar:
- regional problems of transformation of the economy of Kazakhstan and the approaches to the formation mechanism of stimulating the development of the territories;
- study of territorial and sectoral characteristics of the regions of Kazakhstan for economic growth;
- optimization of the factors of production and the formation of regional growth points and centers of competitiveness;
- organizational and economic mechanism of formation and implementation of regional innovation and technology policy of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
As a result of the cluster workshop its presenters will be given a certificate of seminar participation.
