At "D. Serikbaev East Kazakhstan Technical University" JSC, a professional development program is being held on the topics "ISO 9001:2015 – Quality Management Systems. Requirements" and "ISO 19011:2018 – Guidelines for Auditing Management Systems" for the university's faculty and staff.
The goal of the course is to provide a clear understanding of the fundamentals of a Quality Management System (QMS) as a management framework that ensures conditions for its continuous improvement. This, in turn, promotes stable quality performance, enhances customer satisfaction, and supports the sustainable development of the university as a whole. A QMS enables flexible responses to changing customer demands and ensures the delivery of competitive services—in this case, educational services—within the relevant market sector. In this regard, the university’s leadership has set the strategic objective of operating a management system based on international standards, including ISO 9001, which is the international standard for QMS.
