At D. Serikbayev EKTU, professional development courses on anti-corruption management have been launched for university staff. The program focuses on the international standard ISO 37001:2016 "Anti-Bribery Management System."
Kuanysh Myktybayev, a compliance officer of EKTU's Anti-Corruption Compliance Service, conducts the training. Participants include school deans, heads of structural divisions, faculty members, researchers, and other university staff.
During the course, attendees study the key provisions of Kazakhstan's anti-corruption legislation and the ISO 37001:2016 international standard, which regulates anti-bribery management systems in organizations. They also explore the scope and tools of the system, along with the requirements and recommendations for successfully implementing anti-corruption policies at EKTU.
To engage staff in anti-corruption efforts, the training incorporates videos and presentations that visually demonstrate mechanisms for combating corruption. These courses aim to strengthen internal control systems and introduce effective measures to prevent corruption risks within the university environment.
