As part of the national environmental initiative «Taza Kazakhstan», a thematic lecture entitled “Eco-Friendly Habits in Winter” was held at the university in cooperation with campus eco-clubs. The event aimed to enhance environmental awareness among students and staff, as well as to promote sustainable behavioral practices during the cold season.

The speakers included representatives of the University’s Office of Sustainable Development, as well as leaders and activists of eco-clubs, who shared practical recommendations on responsible resource consumption, waste reduction, and minimizing environmental impact during winter. Special attention was given to energy conservation, efficient use of heating, reduction of plastic consumption, and waste sorting.

The event was conducted in an interactive format: students actively asked questions, shared their experiences, and proposed ideas for improving the environmental environment on campus.

The university continues to support the «Taza Kazakhstan» initiative through lectures, environmental campaigns, and the promotion of green practices within the student community.
