On March 14, 2025, a series of training seminars concluded in Italy as part of the Erasmus+ ERASMUS-EDU-2023-CBHE international project "Developing Innovative Curricula and Modules in Circular Economy and Sustainable Development - CirculEC." Hosted by the University of Naples Federico II, the event brought together representatives from ten universities across Kazakhstan, Tajikistan, Uzbekistan, and Turkmenistan.

D. Serikbayev East Kazakhstan Technical University (EKTU), the grant holder and coordinator of the CirculEC project, continues to strengthen international partnerships and promote sustainable development through education. The seminars provided a platform to discuss core topics such as integrating circular economy principles into academic curricula, advancing digital transformation, and fostering international cooperation in knowledge sharing.

The closing session highlighted the far-reaching impact of the CirculEC project across multiple levels and sectors. Key anticipated outcomes include education and knowledge dissemination, internationalization of higher education, institutional innovation, and regional engagement. The project also influences university students, academic staff, entrepreneurs, industry professionals, policymakers, and broader society.

Thus, CirculEC is positioned to drive long-term changes in the academic landscape, supporting sustainable development and enhancing the global competitiveness of Central Asian countries.
