On Friday, September 15, the American corner Oskemen (Pushkin Library) hosted a meeting-acquaintance of eco-clubs of the city. The meeting was organized and held by the eco-club "Green corner" with the assistance of student environmental clubs and classes of D. Serikbayev EKTU. The participants got acquainted with the activities of their organizations, introduced the leaders and heads of clubs, and discussed upcoming joint events. One of them is a cleaning day dedicated to the day of cleaning the coast. For this event, the participants of the meeting went to the embankment of the Ulba River to choose a location and assess the scale of the upcoming work.

The meeting was positive, many common views and ideas were found, and new joint activities were planned. The guys from the student ecological club "FOREST", ecological clubs "Eco House" and "Clover" at EKTU presented information about the meeting to their participants and heads, as well as to all ekoklubs of EKTU, of which about 10 are open at the university. Joint work in environmental actions will definitely continue.
