On 6 February 2026, at the Dissertation Council of D. Serikbayev East Kazakhstan Technical University (NJSC), successful defenses of doctoral dissertations for the degree of Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in the educational program 8D06101 – Information Systems (by industry) were held.
During the session, two doctoral dissertations completed at the School of Digital Technologies and Artificial Intelligence of the university were presented and successfully defended.
Ruslan Chettykbayev defended his dissertation on the topic “Information-Analytical System for Predicting Flooding of Territories During Seasonal High Water Events.”

Akerke Tankibayeva successfully defended her dissertation on the topic “Information Technology for Highlighting Anatomical Structures in Magnetic Resonance Imaging.”
