Araily A. Sarsembayeva

Sarsembayeva A. A., Candidate of Pedagogical Sciences, winner of the title Best Teacher of 2019.

In 1998, she graduated from the Faculty of Foreign Languages of S. Amanzholov East Kazakhstan University in the ‘Foreign languages’ specialty.

In 2020, she graduated from the school of Economics and business of the D. Serikbayev East Kazakhstan Technical University in the ‘Management’ specialty.

After graduating from a higher educational institution, she worked as an assistant, teacher, Senior Lecturer, Associate Professor at the Department of Foreign languages.

In 2008, she defended her thesis on the topic ‘Pedagogical conditions for organising independent work of students of technical universities in a foreign language on the basis of an individual-oriented approach’ in the specialty 13.00.08-Theory and methodology of vocational education.

In 2010, she received the title of associate professor of the Science and Higher Education Quality Assurance Committee of Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

In 2011, she was appointed to the position of head of the Department of Foreign languages.

In 2020, she was appointed to the position of dean of the Faculty of Humanitarian education.

Field of scientific interest: vocational-oriented training of foreign languages in the profile of mining and metallurgical specialties (2015-2017), Introduction of trilingualism in higher educational institutions of Kazakhstan (2015-2019), informal education in the system ‘student-university-external educational environment’ (2023-2025.); training focused on scientific-theoretical and resource-practical languages of professional education.

International internships: Scientific internships at the Technical University of Dresden and the Technical University of Berlin under the program ‘Research internship for university scientists and teachers’ (DAAD) in 2011 and 2018; since 2008 she has been a regular participant in the international seminars of the Goethe Institute in Germany, Austria and Switzerland and since 2009 the International Forum of Foreign Language teachers.

She is the author of more than 145 scientific publications, including 10 monographs.
