The educational program 6B07119 «Operation of a Nuclear Power Plant» was developed in collaboration with IAIE (IAEA) experts in the spring of 2025.
The educational program 6B07119 «Operation of a Nuclear Power Plant» defines the requirements for the level of training of students, determines the content of education, and sets the maximum academic workload.
Program objective: To train highly qualified specialists capable of ensuring the safe operation of nuclear energy facilities throughout their entire life cycle, in relation to thermal and electrical power processes and systems associated with nuclear power installations.
The educational program is aimed at developing students' in-depth knowledge in the field of nuclear energy, radiation safety, engineering systems, and nuclear power plant technologies. Special attention is given to developing practical skills in operation, technical maintenance, and reliability analysis of NPP equipment.
Graduates of the program will be able to effectively solve engineering and organizational tasks under conditions of high safety and environmental responsibility requirements in the nuclear energy sector.
