Organization of computers and computer systems
Description: The discipline introduces the organization of the computing process in digital devices, the basics of logical modeling of functional nodes of hardware of digital systems. Gives an idea of the technical solutions for building digital devices and systems. The principles of operation of computer systems, classifications and criteria for evaluating the technical characteristics of computer systems are considered. Students will gain knowledge on improving the functional characteristics of computers and systems, architectural features of multiprocessor and multi-machine computer systems.
