Water Resources Monitoring Program

The Water Resources Monitoring Program establishes a comprehensive framework for sustainable water management at EKTU. The program focuses on monitoring drinking water, wastewater, and adjacent surface water bodies, optimizing water consumption, ensuring water quality, and preventing environmental pollution. It includes regular monitoring of physicochemical, biological, and hydrological parameters, digital data management, emergency response procedures, and community engagement through education and awareness activities. The program supports EKTU's commitment to sustainable campus development, compliance with national environmental regulations, and the achievement of SDG 6 – Clean Water and Sanitation.
