The Center of Excellence «VERITAS» is an interdisciplinary research platform that unites scientists, engineers and young researchers to solve urgent problems in the field of materials science, metallurgy, processing of natural resources and the introduction of digital technologies in industry and agriculture. The main mission of the Center is to develop scientific potential, create innovative technologies and transfer scientific developments to the real sector of the economy.
The Center's structure includes the Scientific and Technological Center for the Sustainable Development of the Mining and Metallurgical Industry, which unites six specialized laboratories focused on conducting research in the fields of mineralogy, remote sensing of the Earth, powder technologies, rock physics, integrated industrial waste processing and industrial ecology. The Center's activities are aimed at developing sustainable technological solutions for the mining and metallurgical complex, creating new functional materials, improving resource-saving processes and increasing the environmental safety of production.
The Center of Excellence «VERITAS» plays a key role in integrating fundamental and applied research, developing the scientific and technological potential of the region and training highly qualified personnel for the modern industry of Kazakhstan.
