According to the results of an Independent ranking of universities of the Republic of Kazakhstan on the directions and levels of training specialist presented by the Independent Agency of accreditation and rating, in 2014 in the overall ranking of universities on educational programs of doctorate our University took fourth place in the TOP-15.

In the General ranking of University professors - 11 professors of EKSTU entered the list of TOP-30. Teachers of the mechanical engineering and transport department entered the TOP-10:

3^rd place is Professor of the Department of "Technological machines and equipment" Guryanov Georgiy Alexandrovich;

4^th place is Professor of the Department of "Technical physics", the head of the Department Plotnikov Sergey Viktorovich;

8^th place is Professor of the Department of "Technological machines and equipment", the Dean of the department Dudkin Mikhail Vasilyevich;

9^th place is Professor of the Department of "Technical physics" Skakov Mazhen Kanapinovich.

Professors of the University once again showed at the Republican level their research potential, professionalism in the preparation of qualified personnel for the country.
