D. Serikbaev EKSTU and 20 leading Kazakhstan universities presented their activities at the exhibition "Days of Kazakhstan Education", which was held in Shanghai and Beijing.
The exhibition organizer is the "Center for International Programs" JSC of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan with the assistance of the Embassy of Kazakhstan in China and the General Consulate of the Republic of Kazakhstan in Shanghai.
The event was held at Fudan University, Shanghai and Peking University of Applied Sciences. It was organized with the aim of attracting foreign students from among schoolchildren, university students, as well as to conclude agreements on mutual cooperation between Kazakhstan universities and universities in China. The exhibition enables visitors to compare the educational programs of bachelor's, master's, doctoral studies, the second higher education and academic mobility of students in higher educational institutions of Kazakhstan.
In the exhibition, along with D.Serikbaev EKSTU, participated about 20 leading universities of the country, such as Satpayev KazNTU, Gumilyov ENU, Al- Farabi KazNU, UIB, PSPI and etc.
During the event, agitation and explanatory work was carried out for schoolchildren and students, whose number was over 400. A presentation of EKSTU was held and information brochures about the University were distributed.
Following the exhibition, D.Serikbaev EKSTU delegation held meetings with the ten largest technical universities in China. During these meetings, an agreement was reached to sign memorandums on innovative, scientific, technical and educational cooperation, as well as in the implementation of joint scientific programs and the development of double-diploma education (Double Degree Programs).
