D. Serikbayev EKSTU had an international conference "Practical approaches to the implementation of systems of energy monitoring and management in the budget sphere and industry", organized within the joint project of the Group companies AES in Kazakhstan and the USAID program to curb climate change (КССМР). It was attended by representatives of the regional akimat, USAID Mission in Central Asia, Sergey Zuev the vice president of AES corporation in Kazakhstan, scientists and students of D. Serikbayev EKSTU and also a number of leading local and inviting experts.
Conference devoted to practical approaches to the implementation of systems of energy monitoring and management in the budget sphere and industry, is the result of joint work and a memorandum signed between akimat of Ust-Kamenogorsk, SI "Management of Energy and HUO of East Kazakhstan region», D. Serikbaev EKSTU, " Kazakhstan USAID program to curb climate change" and the Group companies of AES in Kazakhstan.
For audience attention was represented the overview of the current situation and prospects of energy development in the region, the experience of the implementation of technical solutions for the implementation systems of energy management and monitoring, attraction of financial resources.
Raising the question of the implementation system of management and monitoring for the budget sector, the head of Kazakhstan USAID program to curb climate changes, Sankovskiy Alex, noted that the results of already implemented energy saving measures show that the total energy saving potential of budget organizations could be at least 25-30 percent of the energy consumed. That is, this value can be reduced the cost of budget organizations for utilities.
In his speech he also touched upon the theme of existing barriers hampering the implementation of energy management in the budget sector, which should be removed for a more effective realization of the program. On the positive moment - were sounded the examples of implementation and monitoring of the energy management system in the budget sector of the Karaganda and Pavlodar cities. It was also noted that among the main directions of provision of technical assistance from the program КССМР - technical and educational-methodological support of EKSTU for the creation of the Center of industrial energy audits.
Oleg Gavrilenko the vice-rector for science and international cooperation said more about the general principles of activity of the Center of industrial energy audit at D. Serikbaev EKSTU and prospects of its development. The results of the executed work in this area presented by Tamara Segeda who is an assistant professor of 'Energy and Technical Physics" of D. Serikbaev EKSTU.
Reports of experts on energy audit was represented on the conference, where raised the problematic issues of different character and offers the optimal way of its solutions. Discussion of these issues allowed the participants to exchange ideas, give the benefit of experience in the sphere of energy saving, set new goals that will lead to fruitful results.
