Five students of D. Serikbayev East Kazakhstan Technical University (EKTU) have gone to Shihezi University (China) for one academic semester as part of the academic mobility program. This project is being implemented through close cooperation between universities of Kazakhstan and China and is aimed at in-depth study of the Chinese language, immersion in Chinese culture, and the expansion of students’ academic and intercultural experience.

The participants of the program include: Radmir Kadyrov, a student of the Educational Program Technical Physics; Danyal Aitkesh (Economics and Management); Kazhybek Sergazy, a master’s student in Information Systems; Magzhan Nurzhanuly (Design and Construction of Highways); and Amina Chaizadina, a student of Life Safety and Environmental Protection.

For the students, this program is not only an opportunity to improve their language skills, but also a unique chance to experience a new educational environment, explore another culture and traditions, and build valuable international connections. Such experience will become an important stage in their professional and personal development.

We are confident that students’ participation in such programs opens new horizons for the university and makes a significant contribution to the development of international cooperation in education. We look forward to seeing more initiatives of this kind that strengthen friendly relations, promote academic mobility, and enhance the quality of training for future specialists.
