D. Serikbayev East Kazakhstan Technical University has once again secured leading positions in the ranking of university educational programs conducted by the National Chamber of Entrepreneurs of the Republic of Kazakhstan "Atameken".
A total of 26 undergraduate educational programs participated in the ranking, with 16 programs (61.5%) placing among the top 5 in the country.
- 1st place - 3 educational programs: Mineral Processing, Thermal Power Engineering, Metallurgy.
- 2nd place - 6 educational programs: Medical Engineering (Medical Equipment), Transport, Transport Equipment and Technologies, Mining, Geology and Exploration of Mineral Deposits, Land Cadastre and Land Management, Water Resources and Water Use.
- 3rd place - 2 educational programs: Computer Engineering and Software, Life Safety and Environmental Protection.
- 4th place - 3 educational programs: Technical Physics, Civil Engineering, and Geodesy and Cartography.
- 5th place - 2 educational programs: Mathematical and Computer Modeling, Forest Resources and Forestry.
Compared to 2024, the share of educational programs in the Top 5 increased from 59.3% to 61.5%, and in the Top 3 from 37% to 42.3%.
With a 95.2% graduate employment rate, EKTU ranked 2nd among state higher and postgraduate education organizations of the Republic of Kazakhstan. The ranking results from the National Chamber of Entrepreneurs of the Republic of Kazakhstan "Atameken" have once again confirmed the high quality of specialist training in high-demand fields, their high competitiveness, and the university's alignment with employer requirements and labor market demands.
