Senior lecturers of the Department of History of Kazakhstan and Socio-Political Disciplines at D. Serikbayev East Kazakhstan Technical University (EKTU) — G.Z. Kapassova, S.A. Linok, and Zh.A. Sadvakasova — have been awarded Letters of Appreciation from the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan in recognition of their significant contribution to the country's public and political life.
The faculty members played an active role in explaining the proposed amendments to the Constitution of the Republic of Kazakhstan during the nationwide public consultation process.
