In the period from 20 February to 24 March the Foundation of the First President of the Republic of Kazakhstan was declared the Republican contest for the best scientific work of students on natural, technical and humanitarian sciences "Scientists of the Future". Republican contest of scientific works conducted annually and consists of two rounds.

Participation in the competition was 290 undergraduate and graduate students who presented 233 research projects, including 18 individual and 55 collective works. Scientific papers were presented to the students of 24 universities of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

Contest winners were 20 research projects. The winner was our 2nd year undergraduate education specialty 6M080700 "Forest resources and forestry", the Faculty of Engineering Nikiforovа Ksenia. The theme of the scientific project "Development of biocomposites for stimulation of plant growth and development." Supervisors: Employees of the department "Water and forests" teachers Lutai Sergey Sergeevich, Lutai Anastasia Olegovna, professor Vorobiev Alexander Lvovich.

The winner was awarded a medal and diploma of the winner.
