The II stage of the XVIII Republican Student Subject Olympiad in the discipline "Power Plants of Transport Systems" within the B065 – "Transport Engineering and Technology" educational program group has concluded at the L.N. Gumilyov Eurasian National University.
The best students from the country's leading higher education institutions participated in this traditional competition, putting their theoretical knowledge and practical skills to the test. During the Olympiad, participants completed complex tasks on the design of internal combustion engines, thermodynamic processes, and energy efficiency issues in transport engineering.
Representing D. Serikbayev EKTU in this competition, student Boris Yuryevich Chukmaryov demonstrated a high level of preparation and professional competence, securing a prize-winning 3rd place. A significant contribution to the student's success was made by his mentor, experienced senior lecturer Vladimir Sergeyevich Yakovlev.
This victory once again proved the high standard of engineering cadre training at the university and the competitiveness of young specialists in the field of "Transport Engineering."
