A memorandum of cooperation has been signed between D. Serikbayev East Kazakhstan Technical University (EKU) and Tianjin University of Technology and Education (TUTE).
During a visit by EKTU representatives to TUTE, the delegation, which included EKTU Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs Asiya Mashekova, Head of the “Transport, Transport Engineering and Technologies” program Professor Murat Muzdybaev, and Head of the “Smart Technologies and Artificial Intelligence in Transport Engineering” program, PhD Dinar Myrzabekova, met with TUTE President Mr. Zheng Qingchun. The meeting was also attended by TUTE Vice-Rector Mr. Yang Bing and Dean of the Automotive Faculty Yue Dongpeng.
During the meeting, representatives discussed issues and options for collaboration between the universities, particularly in the academic sphere and scientific activities. As a result, both sides agreed to cooperate on dual degree and joint educational programs in the fields of innovative SMART technologies, artificial intelligence, and new technologies in transportation and engineering.
The universities also agreed to facilitate academic exchanges for students and faculty, and to develop specific mechanisms for this activity. Additionally, Tianjin University of Technology and Education is prepared to host EKTU master’s and doctoral students for research internships and to participate in supervising their research.
Furthermore, the parties explored opportunities and reached an agreement on scientific collaboration in innovative and breakthrough technologies. Following the meeting, a memorandum of cooperation was signed between the two universities.
It is worth noting that Tianjin University of Technology and Education is one of China’s leading universities. It has established a state-of-the-art educational and research infrastructure, with laboratories equipped with innovative technological equipment. The university hosts over 20,000 students in its bachelor’s, master’s, and doctoral programs.
