On March 26, Zhanna Aubakirova, PhD in History, Associate Professor, Head of the International Research Center DRS, and Nelly Krasnobaeva, PhD in History, Chief Researcher of the Center, took part in the webinar “Regional Family-Demographic System: Historiography, Sources, and Research Methods,” organized by the Institute of History of the Siberian Branch of the Russian Academy of Sciences (Novosibirsk city, Russia). They presented a report on “Digital Tools for Analyzing Demographic Data (using the statdata.info database, an interactive demographic map of Kazakhstan).”

The results of the DSR International Research Center's research activities and examples of the development and use of digital tools in current socio-demographic projects made a great impression on Russian colleagues and aroused genuine interest. The webinar participants noted the high scientific and technological level of the Center’s work and expressed confidence in further developing international scientific contacts and continuing a fruitful research partnership.
