The summer engineering school of "EKTU Educational Academy of D. Serikbayev EKTU" has opened today.
The project will provide in-depth study of physics, mathematics, computer science by students of the region, create an educational environment, which based on interdisciplinary integration of individual school subjects for the continuity of university programs, as well as provide students with the opportunity to gain knowledge and skills aimed at conceptual innovative research and scientific discoveries and, of course, give students the opportunity to choose their future profession.
The project is being implemented jointly with the Department of Education of East Kazakhstan Region. The head of the relevant department - Sayrangul Akhmetkarimovna Zhumadilova comprehensively supports and shows interest in educating future techies.
The Summer engineering school has settled in the expedition campus "Prostor", on the shore of the picturesque Bukhtarma reservoir. More than 100 children will be able not only to expand their knowledge, but also to enjoy the beauties of East Kazakhstan, relax and gain strength before the start of the new academic year.
It is planned to hold 3 seasons:
- 1st season from 04.07.2022 to 15.07.2022
- 2nd season from 18.07.2022 to 29.07.2022
- 3rd season from 08.22.2022 to 08.26.2022
EKTU Educational Academy is a large-scale and multifaceted project. The work is carried out both with schoolchildren and teachers of the region. Since the opening of the network engineering school at the EKTU, about 200 teachers have taken advanced training courses, and they have been provided with methodological assistance. They carried out their activities in the network school as part of the Faculty of Basic Engineering Training.
The EKTU is not standing still - this is just the beginning.
