On June 30, 2026, the regular meeting of the Coordinating Council on the Integrated Management System (IMS) was held at D. Serikbayev East Kazakhstan Technical University (EKTU). In accordance with the agenda, the Coordinating Council members considered the following issues:

  • Implementation of the IMS Coordinating Council decisions adopted in March 2026.
  • Results of Internal Audit No. 43 and progress in implementing the corrective action plan following Internal Audits No. 40, 41, and 42.
  • Progress in implementing the IMS Improvement Plan based on the results of the 2026 surveillance audit.
  • Status of the IMS at the Career Center (SDI Alumni Club).
  • Results of the following surveys:
  • Instructor through the Eyes of Students;
  • University through the Eyes of First-Year Students;
  • Instructor through the Eyes of Colleagues;
  • Graduates through the Eyes of Employers.
  • Status of the IMS in the Department of Educational Programs and Academic Planning.
  • Interim Management Review of the IMS.

Following the discussion, the Coordinating Council recommended approving amendments to a number of internal regulatory documents of the Integrated Management System, including: 

  • Guidelines for the Internal Quality Assurance System at D. Serikbayev East Kazakhstan Technical University, IQAS Manual No. 127.
  • Documented Procedure "Management Review at D. Serikbayev East Kazakhstan Technical University", DP EKTU No. 004-II-2026.
  • Documented Procedure "Final Certification of Students at D. Serikbayev East Kazakhstan Technical University", DP EKTU No. 025-III-2026.
  • Documented Procedure "Bachelor's Degree Training at D. Serikbayev East Kazakhstan Technical University", DP EKTU No. 013-III-2026.
  • Documented Procedure "Master's Degree Training at D. Serikbayev East Kazakhstan Technical University", DP EKTU No. 014-III-2026.

Relevant decisions were adopted on all agenda items, aimed at further improving the Integrated Management System and enhancing the overall effectiveness of the University's operations.
