From June 12 to 16, 2026, a delegation from D. Serikbayev East Kazakhstan Technical University took part in the international education expo in Jakarta, Indonesia.
As part of a rich program, our university:
- showcased EKTU’s educational opportunities at its own booth and held consultations for prospective students and partners;
- attended the official opening ceremony at the Gandhi Memorial Intercontinental School, with representatives of the education ministries of Kazakhstan and Indonesia, as well as the embassies of both countries;
- spoke at the inter-university forum hosted by the University of Indonesia — the country’s leading higher education institution — where prospects for academic cooperation, student exchange, and joint educational programs were discussed.
Participation in the expo marked an important step in expanding EKTU’s international presence and strengthening ties with universities across Southeast Asia.
