The D. Serikbayev East Kazakhstan Technical University (EKTU) took part in the final meeting of the first year (1st Year Management Board Meeting) of the Steering Committee of the Erasmus+ international project "Edu-Fusion Network for Sustainable Growth (EDUFUSION NSG)", which was held at Satbayev University. The event also brought together representatives of leading universities of Kazakhstan, research organizations, and international partners. The opening address was delivered by the Vice-Rector for Science and Corporate Development of Satbayev University, Erzhan Kuldeev:
«Science and education have no borders or nationalities. Projects like these strengthen mutual understanding and contribute to new joint achievements.»
The project coordinator, Professor José Carlos Quadrado, President of ENTER, presented an analytical overview of the results of the first year of the initiative, highlighting the key achievements of the consortium. During the meeting, participants discussed strategic directions for further program development, the implementation of participant certification, and the establishment of national monitoring committees to ensure high-quality educational processes in partner countries.
The EduFusion NSG project brings together universities from Europe and Central Asia to exchange experience, enhance the teaching of engineering and technical disciplines, develop entrepreneurial competencies for engineers, and integrate the principles of sustainable development into educational programs. EKTU continues to actively participate in the project, strengthening its position as an international center for engineering and innovative education in the region.
