The National Chamber of Entrepreneurs "Atameken," in cooperation with the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan, has released the results of an independent evaluation of educational programs at Kazakhstani universities for 2024. The ranking assesses program effectiveness based on four key criteria: graduate career prospects, quality of educational programs, student achievements, and overall university performance.
In the 2024 ranking, 27 educational programs from D. Serikbayev East Kazakhstan Technical University (EKTU) were evaluated, and all of them were included in the list of top programs. Of these, 21 programs (78%) ranked in the Top 10, confirming the university’s high standard of specialist training. Notably, 10 programs ranked in the Top 3, and three of them secured first place in their respective categories.

These ranking results once again demonstrate that EKTU’s educational programs not only meet the current labor market demands but also provide high-quality training for specialists who are in demand by employers.
It is worth noting that the graduate employment rate at EKTU stands at 89%, the highest among regional universities in Kazakhstan.
EKTU continues to maintain its leadership in education, reinforcing its reputation as one of the strongest technical universities in the country. The Atameken ranking results once again confirm the high competitiveness and significance of the university’s educational programs.
