On October 9, 2026, D. Serikbayev East Kazakhstan Technical University hosted a series of meetings between representatives of Kazzinc LLP and second-year students as part of the K’ADAM targeted engineering training program.
The meetings brought together students from the School of Earth Sciences, the School of Architecture, Construction and Energy, and the International School of Engineering, studying in geological exploration, mining and metallurgy, energy, and engineering-related fields.
Company representatives introduced students to Kazzinc LLP’s activities, in-demand professions at the enterprise, and opportunities for professional development. Particular attention was paid to participation in K’ADAM, which combines university education with practical training in an industrial setting.
During the meetings, students learned about the program’s features, participation requirements, selection stages, and future employment opportunities. They also received information about career growth prospects and support measures for young professionals.
K’ADAM is an important form of cooperation between the university and industry, helping prepare qualified engineers in line with the current needs of production.
Such meetings help students identify their career goals as early as their second year, connect with a potential employer, and take their first steps toward a future engineering career.
Students interested in joining K’ADAM can contact the EKTU Career Center (Room G-1-136) for further information.
