D. Serikbayev East Kazakhstan Technical University has been awarded the highest rating – 5 QS Stars. This is not only a strong result of an international audit, but also a confirmation that EKTU is confidently developing as a modern university with high-quality education, востребованными graduates, a strong research environment, and active international engagement.
The QS Stars system evaluates universities across a wide range of indicators, from teaching quality and facilities to sustainability, research activity, graduate employability, and global engagement. According to the results, EKTU received 5 stars:
- for teaching the “Civil Engineering” programme;
- facilities;
- good governance and environmental impact;
- graduate employability;
- global engagement.
The “Academic Development” category was awarded 4 stars, while “Arts” received 3 stars.
This result confirms that EKTU not only meets international standards, but also creates a modern educational environment where students gain high-quality knowledge, practical experience, and real career opportunities.
