The International School of Engineering of D. Serikbayev East Kazakhstan Technical University has successfully completed the defense of graduation projects of students enrolled in the educational program 6B07112 “Mechanics and Metalworking” and the defense of master's theses of students enrolled in the educational program 7M07111 “Mechanics and Metalworking”.
During the defense, undergraduate students presented projects focused on the development of technological processes for manufacturing machine-building components and assemblies for such enterprises as UKAZ JSC, Kazzinc LLP, UZPA JSC, Ulba Metallurgical Plant JSC (UMP), and other leading industrial enterprises of East Kazakhstan Region and the Republic of Kazakhstan.
Master's students presented the results of their scientific research devoted to modern technologies in CNC electrical discharge machining (EDM), TIG cladding and surfacing, 3D scanning and reverse engineering, as well as other relevant areas in the field of mechanics and metalworking.
The high level of graduates' training was noted by the members of the State Attestation Commission, which included representatives of the Kazakhstan Mint of the National Bank of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Academproject LLP, Eurotechservice K LLP (East Kazakhstan Branch), and D. Serikbayev East Kazakhstan Technical University. The commission highly appreciated the professional knowledge, practical skills, and research potential demonstrated by both undergraduate and master's graduates.
Graduates of the educational programs in Mechanics and Metalworking have traditionally been in high demand among industrial enterprises not only in East Kazakhstan Region but also throughout the Republic of Kazakhstan.
Particular recognition should be given to the successful defense of master's theses by international students of the educational program 7M07111 “Mechanics and Metalworking”. Among them were Umar Ibtasam (Pakistan) and Daniel Damilare Emmanuel (Nigeria). This fact demonstrates the growing international recognition of the educational programs offered by the International School of Engineering and the expanding geographical reach of its graduates far beyond the borders of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
We sincerely congratulate our graduates on the successful defense of their graduation projects and master's theses. We wish them good health, professional growth, creative inspiration, new scientific and industrial achievements, and every success in accomplishing their future goals.
