The training period of D. Serikbaev EKSTU Military Sub-Department’s attendees came to the end. And according to the tradition, they ended with the contest of Patriotic songs organized by the graduates. The contest was held in assembly hall of the University. There were guests, friends and family members of students on the concert.  The competition jury consisted of independent representatives.

The contest was attended by teams of attendees from the three cycles of the military Sub-Department: the cycle of General-military training, cycle of maintenance and repair of basic machinery of armored vehicles and cycle of operation and repair of automotive vehicles, commonly called "motorized infantry", "tank" and "motorists".

The competition included several categories: presentation of teams, competition of leaders, musical and instrumental compositions, humorous reprise, poetry reading, and the best performance of Patriotic songs.

This contest has shown true an artistic and vocal ability of the attendees, particularly successful, in my opinion, was humorous performances of motorists. On a high artistic level were Patriotic songs by the attendees of the military training. But there wasnot equal to the tankers in the poetic reading.

Overall, the competition of military-Patriotic song was in high level, and the jury deliberated long before made their decision about the places of teams.

In the end, the decision of the jury was as follows:

I place – team "the maintenance and repair of motor vehicles",

II place – team cycle of the General-military training

III place – team cycle "Operation and maintenance of basic machinery of armored vehicles".

Also there were summed up the results of the training period and awarded trophies and certificates to outstanding teams and students.

So, for the first place in the team standings at the military sports games were awarded with certificates and challenge Cup to the team of "Operation and maintenance of basic machinery of armored vehicles" cycle (head of the cycle, Lieutenant Colonel Talgat Asanbaev).

In conclusion, the head of military Sub - Department Mantsurov Oleg congratulated all graduates on finishing of training in the military Department and wished them success in their future life and study.
