On May 10-11, forum of business incubators took place in Astana on basis of Forte Bank. The event was organized by the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan. Forum was participated by the basic universities, which are regional centers of the STARTUP BOLASHAK "Menin Armanym" contest. D. Serikbayev EKSTU was represented by the Head of the Startup Academy, Meruert Utegenova, and specialist of the technology commercialization office, Elmira Madinova.

The main topic of forum was "Ecosystem of startups and innovations in Kazakhstan." The event was opened by the Executive Secretary of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Aryn Orsariev. The main speakers were invited experts: founder and president of international holding of state corporation Arman Holding, Serikbay Bisekeyev; General Director of Renewable Energy Association of RK, Arman Kashkinbekov; Deputy Chairman of the Board of JSC National Infocommunication Holding Zerde, member of the Board of Directors of Enactus Kazakhstan, Daurzhan Augambay; and others.

An important event, timed to the forum, was the discussion of the steps to create an association of business incubators. Its creation is perspective decision for many issues, including the lack of a regulatory framework, poor understanding of the specifics of the incubators' activities, the need for networking and resource exchange, and lobbying the interests of business incubators throughout the country
