At the D. Serikbayev East Kazakhstan Technical University, a specialized seminar on “Modeling Investment Projects” was held for senior staff of the investment and economic divisions of JSC "National Mining Company Tau-Ken Samruk." The event was organized by the University’s Career Center and Business School with the support of the Department for the Organization and Monitoring of the Educational Process.
The seminar program was designed in a practice-oriented format. In addition to studying the theoretical aspects of investment, participants visited EKSTU’s scientific laboratories as well as the region’s leading enterprises: JSC "Ust-Kamenogorsk Titanium-Magnesium Plant," LLP "Kazzinc," LLP "Silumin-Vostok," and the city’s hydropower plants. Such visits allowed participants to gain direct insight into production processes and exchange experiences with industry representatives.
The seminar concluded with the defense of investment project models developed by the participants. The commission members highlighted the high quality of the projects, posed questions, and provided practical recommendations.
The official certificate awarding ceremony was held with the participation of EKSTU Vice-Rector for Science and Innovation, Zhadyra Konurbayeva, who congratulated the participants and emphasized the importance of the university’s cooperation with national companies in training qualified specialists and advancing new investment initiatives.
