In D. Serikbayev EKSTU was held enlarged meeting of the Academic Council of the University on discussion of the initiative of the Assembly of Kazakhstan People about the election of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan in 2015.

Rector of the University Nurlan Temirbekov, head of the sub-department "Social humanities and the Assembly of Kazakhstan People", candidate of historical sciences, associate professor N.L.Krasnobaeva, Ph.D., candidate of historical sciences, associate professor of sub-department "History of Kazakhstan and law" - R. K. Aydarbaeva said some words at the meeting in support to the initiative .

On behalf of the students of the university expressed positions: Chairman of the Committee on Youth University - S.R.Baygereev, first-year student of Mechanical Engineering and Transport Faculty - A.Seraya.

By general voting of EKSTU staff, was expressed unanimous support for the initiative of the Assembly of Kazakhstan People to hold the election of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan in 2015.
