The College of EKSTU was established on the basis of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan order No. 340 dated 08.07.1999 as a structural subdivision of the D.Serikbayev East Kazakhstan State Technical University in order to implement the concept of continuing professional education in the "School - College - University" system.

There are experienced teachers in the teaching staff.

Classes at the college are conducted not only by college teachers, but also by leading university teachers - specialists with a PhD degree, associate professors and professors.

Students are provided with a powerful material and technical base of the university: a library, gyms, classrooms and laboratories, the latest personal computers in computer classrooms.
